Kayak Trout Creek
Details
Join us for about a 2 1/2 hour paddle up river to state road 16A and back to the boat ramp. Trout Creek is usually a quiet creek, great for the novice paddler. Very scenic.
Please be there at 9:30 a.m. Launch time 10:00 a.m.
Bring sunscreen, water, whistle, Personal Flotation Device (PFD). No one will be allowed on the water without PFD and whistle. No pets, please. No rentals available. Restrooms at the ramp.
The Trout Creek boat ramp is at 6795 Collier Road, Orangedale, 32092, just off SR 13 south of the Shands Bridge turn off.
NOTE: You are required to sign our Participation Agreement to participate in our outings.
Cancellation Policy: Event will be held rain or shine, but may be cancelled if weather threatens safety such as in the case of lightning or high winds in the forecast. Also, if the heat index is forecast to be over 103, then the outing will be cancelled. Participants are advised to check Meetup for current status before traveling to the event. Events may need to be cancelled at short notice.
