What we’re about

Silicon Valley Unicycle Group is all about bringing people of all ages together to learn, practice and ride unicycle in the South Bay and the greater San Francisco Bay Area. We offer activities such as clinics, bike path riding, mountain unicycling, etc. All activities are free of charge unless required for parking or venue access.

SAFETY
Helmet is required while riding. Other protective gear such as knee/skin guards, elbow pads, gloves, etc. is recommended. Let's ride safe.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
If you are under 18 years of age, you can attend this meetup only if accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian who should also sign up as a participant.

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE
You and your guest(s) understand that your photos and videos may be posted by our organizers or members on Meetup.com or other social media websites.

LEGAL STUFF
In consideration of being permitted to participate in a Silicon Valley Unicycle Group ("SVUG") meetup activity, you agree as follows:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK
By signing up, you and your guest(s) acknowledge that you have voluntarily requested to participate. You understand that this meetup may involve hazards and risks. You fully assume all risks in regard to riding a unicycle or related activities and being around others riding unicycles or doing related activities.

RELEASE OF LIABILITIES
By signing up, you and your guest(s) agree to release us (SVUG's organizer, co-organizers and assistant organizers) from claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation, transportation to or from, attendance at our meetups. You and your guest(s) also agree that you bear all responsibilities if a person, such as another participant, a passerby or a bystander, is injured or property is damaged caused by your action. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
