- 2024 Holiday Bike Build - VolunteerSanta Clara County Fairgrounds, Pavilion Hall, San Jose, CA
This is not a unicycle event.
Turning Wheels for Kids is a nonprofit that provides bicycles to low-income kids for the holidays. They need volunteers to help assemble 500 new bikes they've purchased. These are standard department store bikes, so the assembly process is quite simple. You don't need to be a bike mechanic.
Some of you have participated in this event before the pandemic. The event used to be called the Big Bike Build. Now it's renamed to Holiday Bike Build.
Sign-up is free, but space is limited. Register to be a Bike Builder. At the end of the registration process, request to join the team "SVUG" to be assigned to the same corral.
