What we’re about
This group is for individuals age 50 or older !!
This group is for outdoor lovers of all levels but it’s not about speed ! If you enjoy walking and exploring but like to stop and look at flowers , enjoy the wildlife sightings , take photos or listen to the sounds of the water flowing in the creek then this group may be for you .
Our main focus will be hiking / walking but we hope to offer a variety of other events also . We enjoy gardens , museums, history , festivals, coastal adventures and exploring new places to name a few .
Event groups will be kept small for camaraderie and to reduce our carbon footprints . Our hope is that every outing will be enjoyed by all .
Our events will not be confined to a specific area. Most will be in the northern parts of the state with possibilities of events beyond those areas . An ex of events : Crystal river preserves , Paynes Prairie SP, New Smyrna beach , and Amelia island etc .
There will be weekday and weekend events.
There will be zero tolerance for drama ! Please if you RSVP and can’t make it cancel so we aren’t waiting and someone else could possibly have your spot . You will be removed from the group if you have two no shows .
