Join us as we again take part in Walk around Florida 33.
Today's walk will be a 6 mile walk . We will visit historic sites and take in great views of the Matanzas River and Pellicer Creek. A variety of wildlife may be seen including turtles, shorebirds, bald eagles , red fox and more.
This beautiful 1500 acre preserve is located in the confluence of Pellicer creek, Moody creek and the Matanzas River.
The original lodge built by Henry Cutting is on site and is Flagler county`s oldest intact structure. There is also Florida's first in ground swimming pool.
The walk is $4 and we will meet by 11:30 to register and be ready to walk at noon. Preserve entrance is free.
Bring plenty of water and bug / sun protection.
