Unfortunately there will not be a Christmas party this year due to my life being too hectic at the moment. However, we have come up with a fun event that we hope you all will like and enjoy.

Ventura is having their annual Holiday Street Festival on Dec. 7, this is also paired with the Ventura Wine Walk. We have done the Wine Walk in the past and the general thought is it was not worth the money and the wine was just so so. The past couple years a few of my friends and I have taken the train to the Street Fair and did our own Pub Crawl along the way, also stopping for a bite and we had a great time.

Main Street will be lined with hundreds of local vendors selling a wide variety of crafts and goods. There will be artists, non-profit organizations, crafters, commercial, food/drink vendors live entertainment.

So let's have some fun enjoying Street Festival as we crawl up Main Street visiting Pubs along the way. The Train leaves Simi at 12:11 and arrives in Ventura at 1:03. We will then re-board the train for home at 5:28. This gives us plenty of time to shop, eat , drink and be Merry. However, there is another train leaving for home at 7:43 for those who want to stay longer or, by some chance, miss the train.

This event is open to friends and significant others of SVGNO members, the more the Merrier.

P.S. If you wish to do the Wine Walk instead of Pub Crawling please feel free to purchase tickets for that. We want everyone to have fun and do what they like.

There is also an earlier train leaving Simi at 10:11 am if that is a better option for anyone.
