About Maja Savic: With over 15 years of performance experience and a unique holistic approach to teaching voice, Maja Savic is a jazz and Brazilian music specialist currently based in Paris. Her teaching focuses on empowering singers to be confident on stage, embrace individuality, and delve into the intricacies of jazz and Latin genres.

Workshop Highlights:

• Basic scales in Jazz and Blues
• Interpretation and Phrasing
• Swing VS Latin - rhythm, count-offs, grooves, and more
• Improvisation as a tool of expression
• Brazilian styles - bossa nova and samba
• Arranging and developing your own style
• Communication with the band and learning the jazz lingo

• Circle songs

• Early Bird Fee: €300 (until April 1st, 2024)
• Registration Fee: €350 (after April 1st, 2024)
• Deposit: €100 to book your spot

• Travel to Split (bus/flights), then to Bol via catamaran or ferry.
• Accommodation: Book in advance through Santo Agency, Airbnb, or Booking.
• Food: Explore local specialties in Bol, with a supermarket in the center.

Dates:

• Rehearsals with an accompanist start on August 25th
• Live performance of participants & teachers on August 29th
