SASSY🎉

SASSY (Sensational Active Sophisticated Seniors Yeah!) is for 120 active members 55-ish years of age or older. That translates into a great ratio in trying to get a spot for an event! The group is about establishing friendships and healthy relationships amongst all its members both in and outside of the group. Some group events may be smaller in attendee numbers then you are accustomed with. (8 or less) This is to enhance conversation amongst all and facilitate friendships with all the members as we try to get to know each other better. We will try to meet weekly, with quarterly special events.

WHAT HAS TO BE SAID:
1. We are a classy and sassy group. As a group, we must be welcomed and accommodated at establishments. If you are not sure of availability, please DO NOT sign-up for an event. No-shows may be removed from the group and cancellations less than 24 hours in advance may have that member moved to future event waitlists. We all get it, life happens - but last-minute cancellations are impossible to fill, diminishes the event for the attending members, and makes us look bad to the establishment now, and for future consideration. Please be kind to your fellow members and the group. Please make sure you are available for, and committed to the event, before you sign-up. Thank you.

2. We need a clear picture of yourself for admission to SASSY. A picture of a plant, astrological sign or of your cute pet will not work. If you are in the Witness Protection Program, it may be in your best interest not to be out in public. This policy is for the integrity of the group, the safety of its members, and gives us the ability to recognize you in case you can’t spot us, we can spot you. Thank you.

3. Participation in any of our events is voluntary and an "Assumption of risk", and by signing up to participate in events, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the 'Sensational Active Sophisticated Seniors Yeah' Group. You bear all risk and you agree to release us (Organizers, Co-Organizers, Event Organizers or Event Hosts and their designees) from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your Third Party Transactions, our resolution of any disputes among users, and/or your transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at a Meetup Gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits. Thank you.

4. We are a Classy & Sassy Group. Un-Classy behavior, as witnessed or reported, will be referred to our Sargeant-At-Arms, Nunzio 4-toes Abocarrio, who may terminate you from the group, with extreme prejudice. Thank you.

• Karaoke Night (Watching or Participating)

We will mostly be doing things in the geographical box created by:
East 2 West: Oldsmar/Safety Harbor to Clearwater/ Dunedin,
& North 2 South: Palm Harbor to Largo.

P.S. 'SASSY' has been overwhelmed with requests to join.

Requests are being looked at in the order that they were received.
*The group has limited membership space to 150, so there will have to be a rotating '*waiting list to join' for those looking to do so. How that will play out is this; as non-active members are extricated quarterly; waitlisted people will be admitted in their place. I hope this helps everyone understand the process and cuts down on the emails being received about: 'what's going on with my membership request' .... Thanks.
