West Wycombe is a picturesque village known for its charming 16th and 17th-century cottages, traditional shops, pubs, and delightful tea rooms. The Dashwood Mausoleum and the historic Hellfire Caves offer a glimpse into the area’s rich history and fascinating heritage.
Nearby Hughenden Manor has a long-standing history, first recorded in 1086 and now managed by the National Trust. This elegant Victorian mansion, once the home of the Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, features beautiful gardens and provides insights into Victorian life and politics.
Both West Wycombe and Hughenden Manor make for wonderful visits for those interested in history, architecture, and natural beauty.
