Step back in time and experience the magic of a bygone era this holiday season! Nestled in the heart of the Sierra Nevada foothills, Nevada City transforms into a winter wonderland, where history and holiday cheer come alive.

The scent of roasted chestnuts wafts through the crisp evening air, mingling with the lively calls of street vendors and the glow of lamp-lit streets adorned with Christmas treasures. Wander the hilly, picturesque lanes illuminated by authentic gas lamps, as carolers in elegant Victorian attire serenade passersby with timeless melodies.

We will meet outside of Whole Foods near the produce section to organize our carpool before heading to Nevada City. We will park at Eric Rood Government Center located at 950 Maidu Avenue. They have a shuttle that drops off at the bottom of Victorian Christmas next to the Food Court on Union Street. Once there, we’ll have lunch.

The Victorian Experience begins at 1:30 PM. We’ll stroll and immerse ourselves in the festive ambiance and entertainment surrounding us. Savoring a Hot Buttered Rum or a cup of Mulled Wine while strolling the streets is the perfect way to embrace the festive spirit.
