The cruise is 7 days/6 nights (Sat. to Sat., Feb. 2-8, 2025), but I recommend (like last year) we all fly in a day earlier. This alleviates getting to O'Hare at 5am to fly out, drive to Cape Canaveral and board in time for the ship's 4pm departure. If anything goes wrong (weather or time-wise), you miss the boat, baby! So I've got the best hotel deal I could find, plus will offer group transfers from airport to hotel, hotel to dock, and dock to airport for our return, once I have a final head count.

This cruise aboard the Carnival VISTA ship stops at 3 tropical beach ports, includes a jolly 1-hour group cocktail party, reserved group space for dinners every night, exciting shore excursions (or chillin' on each beach), AND originally offered a $100 CABIN CREDIT per room from Vacations-To-Go (to spend onboard) AND a $50 cabin credit per room from Carnival (if you book quickly)!

This is for those flying in on Saturday morning with many of us, staying overnight, and being among the FIRST to board the cruise ship Saturday morning! Since we arrive at Orlando Airport and have to travel about 50 minutes to Cape Canaveral (the cruise port city), I checked out many hotels enroute, as they are definitely cheaper than staying near the cruise port. However, the savings was offset by a longer drive the next day, and zero hotels offering shuttle buses, meaning we'd have to get our own.

Although MANY hotels are coming in at over $300/night, and many don't even have their own restaurant and bar, I finally settled on the perfect one! I'm all booked in a 2-queen room, so please book NOW. This hotel has an included light breakfast, restaurant and bar (if you just want to relaaaaaax on the property), outdoor pool, AND multiple shuttles to the cruise port for an additional $14/person. It's a short walk to another couple of dining options as well.

I booked through Expedia, but it's also on Booking.com, Hotels.com and more, I'm sure. My Expedia rate was the lowest, so I booked there.

NOTE: There is a sister hotel just a few miles away with a very similar name, but no shuttles, so please be SURE you are booking at the address below. This is less than 7 miles from the port---Yaay!
