Chicago activists in the 1960s and ’70s used design to create powerful slogans, symbols, and imagery to amplify their visions for social change. At this event centering on our newest exhibition *[Designing for Change: Chicago Protest Art of the 1960s–70s](https://www.chicagohistory.org/exhibition/designing-for-change-chicago-protest-art-of-the-1960s-70s/)*, enjoy a special presentation by its curator **Olivia Mahoney** on female artists and the fight for women’s rights, gallery time, and a luncheon as we reflect on women’s contributions to our city.
