Yates Mill Pond Tour & Howling Cow Ice Cream

There are free one hour guided tours which start at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.The tours are popular so we need to be there by at least 1:30 to make sure we get in. Donations are welcome.

Yates Mill is an operable grain mill established around 1756. The equipment in the mill is original, left after the Lea family ceased milling operations in the mid-1950s. It will be interesting to learn about Raleigh's settlement days.
