The Three P's - Tracy A Hike T2/3- Strong Beginners & SLOW Intermediate Hikers
Details
PLEASE READ ALL DESCRIPTION BEFORE SIGNING UP!!!
I will take 12 hikers max and only those who have hiked with me previously or done urban walks will be considered for winter mountain hikes. Therefore you will be waitlististed first.
How Do I Know This Hike Is For Me?
Are you a Slow to Very Slow Beginner or Intermediate hiker? Do you typically avoid signing up for hikes because their slow is not your slow? We have fun, laughs and really honestly go slow.... We "get there" 99% of the time (weather and trail conditions are the no-go's) but at our pace. So feel good about joining us if you are slow. If you like the destination but not a slow pace please wait for another organizer to put this one together. Thank you.
We will start at the Elbow Falls Day Use Parking lot and hike the loop of Powderface creek - Prairie Link to Prairie Creek Trail.
There is ~ 500 m accumulated elevation gain over 11.5 - 13.5 km (so many guesstimates). We will hike along the creek, through meadows and along rock faces, past cattle (likely) and we are likely to see whisky jacks . Many types of terrain to discover on this hike.
