Mary S. Young Park is located in the city of West Linn, alongside the Willamette River, and is heavily wooded. It offers more than five miles of hiking trails, bicycle trails, picnicking, bird watching, fishing, sports fields, and a very popular off-leash dog area. We will be walking the Heron Creek Loop which takes us around the main park, wooded area and recreation fields. If the group would like to also walk down to the river we can also make that happen :)

Length: 1.5 Miles (More if you want to walk to the river)
Elevation: 82 ft.
Trail Surface: Mostly dirt, some paved
Trial Type: Loop

Leashed dogs are welcome to join on this walk and there is an off leash dog area at this location as well! Please remember your poop bags if you bring the doggos along!

We will walk this trail slowly. We prefer to stay as a group but you're welcome to go ahead if you prefer.

There is an annual fee for this group of $12 to cover the costs and time of the organizers. This can be paid at the time of the Meetup if not already paid.
