Smash Squad: Competitive Badminton League (January 2025 start)

Welcome to School of Academics League - a competitive badminton league for intermediate-level players (Category C & D).

This league offers a unique opportunity for 12 pairs (24 players) to compete in a friendly yet competitive environment over an exciting season running from January to June 2025 (flexible schedule).

Each pair will play 22 matches in the season, with matches consisting of the best of 3 sets played to 21 points. Flexible availability is required as we are all working professionals and have holidays booked up, at times for a few weeks, so don't worry if you are not always available as we can schedule your games around your availability.

Registration is **£88 per player** for the season to cover shuttles, court bookings, trophies & medals, payable in instalments, with a 25% discount for Better Leisure Centre members. The average cost per session will be around £8, which offers a great value for money, as usually it costs £10-£12 for the same duration of play.
