Singles Badminton League for Cat C & D (Intermediate) Players

Welcome to the Smash Squad League - partly sponsored by School of Academics, a competitive badminton league for intermediate-level players (Category C & D).

This league offers a unique opportunity for 16 players to compete in a friendly yet competitive environment over an exciting season running from January to June 2025.

Each player will play around 20 matches in the season, with matches consisting of the best of 3 sets played to 21 points. Flexible availability is required as we are all working professionals and have holidays booked up, at times for a few weeks, so don't worry if you are not always available as we can schedule your games around your availability.

Registration is **£88 per player** for the season (covering all costs such as court booking, feather shuttles, medals & trophies), payable in instalments, with a 25% discount for Better Leisure Centre members. The average cost per session will be around £4 per hour of play, which offers a great value for money.

Trophies and medals (gold, silver & bronze) await the top three teams at the end of the season.
