Let's go for a road trip to visit Luray Caverns and have a short hike in Shenandoah National Park.

Itinerary:

11:00 AM – Arrive at Luray Caverns
11:00 AM - 12:30 PM – Explore Luray Caverns (Self-guided tour)
12:30 PM - 01:00 PM – Visit the Car & Carriage Caravan Museum (next to the caverns, included with ticket)
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Lunch in downtown Luray (1.5 mile away from cave)
2:00 PM - 5:30 PM short hike (This is optional)
Drive 25 miles from downtown to "Stony Man Trailhead Parking" and then hike through the trail which is a 1.6 miles loop. The trail offers one of the best panoramic views in Shenandoah National Park. Note that you will need to pay for entrance or have Shenandoah Annual Pass and here is the link for pass
