Here it is, fellow Enthusiasts ... OUR FIRST TRIP! Yes - our very first trip as a group, and I thought it would be nice to stay somewhat local and venture down to North San Diego County to the Ramona Valley AVA.

Here is the itinerary:
Date: January 17th - 19th, 2025

Hotel: Riviera Oaks Resort in San Diego Country Estates (Ramona)
Friday, January 17, 2025: If you want to take the day off and venture down early, there are so many wineries you can pop into during the afternoon. For those of you venturing down after work, our first actual stop for this trip is at The Barn in Ramona for dinner at 6:30PM.

Saturday, January 18th, 2025: Wine Tour (Party Bus ... our own Mercedes Benz Sprinter). We'll be picked up at the Hotel at 11AM and will visit three wineries: Ramona Ranch Winery, Hatfield Creek Vineyards & Winery, and Vineyard Grant James. Lunch will be provided by Ramona Family Naturals and delivered to us at Ramona Ranch Winery. Dinner reservations are set for 6:30PM at Marinade on Main that evening (a Ramona "hot spot" that I actually have yet to try!).

Sunday, January 19th, 2025: Brunch at The Oaks Grille in San Diego Country Estates (really close to the Hotel). For those of you who have Monday off, this is a free day to continue to explore Ramona wineries, or even venture into Escondido or Rancho Bernardo, if you feel so inclined.

Budget Info:
Hotel - If we can book ten rooms, the rates will be $100 for a 1BR, or $140 for a 2BR. There is also an 8% tax, plus $15 tax resort fee.
Transportation to/from Ramona: Attendee's responsibility
Wine Tastings: Tastings range from $10-20 at most places
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner: Attendee's responsibility
