The 5 Peaks in the Pentland Hills will raise your heart-rate, but it's very manageable. Once you've ascended the first hill, we'll be undulating along a ridgeline. These are a great set of low-level hiking hills, reaching just over 600m in elevation, and providing amazing views of the rolling countryside, and the North Sea. The hike will take approx. 4 hours.

Itinerary
We'll meet at the Princes Street Entrance of Edinburgh Waverly train station, and can then take a bus to the start location of the hike. It's a point to point hike, and there's a lovely Inn at the finish location where we can have some food, before taking our return bus journey back into the city.
This will be a great, fun and full day spent outdoors, enjoying what this lovely location so close to Edinburgh City Centre, has to offer.

For those eager to summit the highest mountain in the UK, Ben Nevis standing proud at 1,345 meters, this is certainly the weekend for you. It’s been scheduled late enough in the calendar to avoid the midge season, phew… Did you know that the water from this infamous mountain also feeds into the Ben Nevis Distillery and eventually becomes a tasty malt, making for a fine dram or two! We'll base ourselves in Oban, a stunning seaside fishing town. Depending on timings, we'll pay a visit to either Oban or Ben Nevis Distillery :)

Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrive into Oban and check into our accommodation. We’ll then enjoy our first activity of the weekend, our whisky distillery tour, setting us in good Scottish stead… before heading for our evening meal.
Day 2 - Following a hearty breakfast and a scenic drive to Fort William, we’ll set off on our hike. We’ll set off relatively early, and can expect to take around 4 to 5 hours to climb and 2 to 3 hours to descend. Hopefully we’ll have a good weather day for our lunch stop at the summit! We’ll have time to rest our weary legs and freshen up before dinner.
Day 3 - We can enjoy breakfast and a short boat tour before starting our journey home.
