The Common Woman Chorus will be presenting their fall concert performance on Saturday November 23rd - with TWO shows - one at 3pm and one at 7pm.

We are a treble chorus made up of woman-identifying, gender-nonconforming, and transgender individuals. We are an LGBTQIA+ centered space and a place for queer joy. We are people always seeking and working toward justice. We believe in the power of our collective voices.

This fall, we are celebrating the age diversity we have within our chorus! There are nearly 60 years separating our oldest and youngest members of CWC. Our incredible generational diversity brings a richness to our community experience, with wisdom and learning traveling in all directions between our youth and our elders.

This semester, we celebrate this interconnectedness with a concert of generation-defining songs from Silent Generation all the way to Gen Alpha. Come enjoy our mixtape of classics from The Supremes, Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Kelly Clarkson, Chappell Roan, and so many more!

The Chorus began in 1983 as a feminist chorus. As such, our work often reflects on the personal and political struggles of women and disenfranchised communities and celebrates the heroes who championed social change before us. Throughout our history, we have come together to present concerts that highlight the diversity of our experiences, the strength of our community and the local and global events that inspire and inform us.
