Stafford Gardening Club: Garden Makeover & Social Meet-Up

Are you passionate about gardening or eager to learn new skills? Join us for the Stafford Gardening Club, where like-minded individuals come together to transform an overgrown garden into a beautiful space — and have some fun while doing it!

Our first meeting will kick off on 12th October 2024, and we’ll be getting our hands dirty with a garden makeover project. Whether you’re an experienced gardener or a beginner, you’re welcome to join in! This is a friendly, inclusive group where we can share tips, work together, and create something special.

What to Expect:
- Hands-on garden work: Help with our transformation project, whether it's weeding, planting, or designing.
- Gardening tutorials: Learn practical gardening tips from experienced members.
- Socialize: Enjoy tea and coffee during breaks and get to know your fellow gardeners.
- Optional Evening Social: After the gardening session, we'll head out to a local pub for food and drinks (completely optional but a great way to unwind and connect).

What to Bring:
- Your own gardening tools (spade, gloves, pruning shears, etc.).
- Sturdy, comfortable shoes suitable for outdoor work.
- Weather-appropriate clothing that you don't mind getting dirty (e.g., gardening gloves, a waterproof jacket if necessary).
- Enthusiasm to get involved!

Refreshments: Tea and coffee will be provided on-site.

Location: The overgrown garden we're tackling is in Castlefields, Stafford.

**Parking & Meeting Point**: Due to parking restrictions near the garden, we will park and meet at **Martin Drive Car Park**, where parking is free of charge.

Time: (Feel free to join us for as long as you like)
- 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM – Gardening session with a 30-minute break for lunch.
- 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM – Continue with garden work, followed by the social evening.

Facilities: A toilet will be available on-site.
