Join the U-District Board Games Social group for fun evening of bubble tea and tabletop games! Whether you are new in town, an international or exchange student, or a local college student looking to meet new people, this meetup is the perfect opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. We'll have a variety of games available for play, from strategy board games to exciting social deduction games to keep the night entertaining.
Showing up a little late is fine, as we know it can be early for a workday. We will be upstairs. Look for the tables with the board games or a Meetup sign on it. We meet at a theater near the link light rail station on Tuesday, because movie tickets are discounted to $5 or $8. We assume you would like to purchase your seating in advance to sit around each other. If you show up late, you must find your own purchased seating. - Why the 30 RSVP limit on Friday night events? Oasis Tea Zone (UW Seattle) have 30 places to sit upstairs when the space is completely empty. Upstairs at Oasis Tea Zone (UW Seattle) can accept more players, just realize a place to sit isn't going to be easily available.
- Does the group need any additional leadership help? Yes, members are welcomed to host other events outside of Friday nights or help with the group in general.
