Socializing in Eugene

This is a group for everyone (mostly more mature ages 50plus) to socialize, dance, walk, hike, movies, dining out, picnics, shows, live music, wine tasting, converse, and have fun! We are here to enjoy life with some good company! But most of all to make friends.

Our Meetup is a community built on trust. We want our members to always feel safe and comfortable at our events and expect everyone to be respectful and considerate of others. We put a lot of effort into making arrangements for events that may include reserving places at restaurants or seats. So if you are unable to attend please change your RSVP "no" so we can pass that on to who we need to. You have a 2 month trial period for our group, in that time please pay your $10.00 annual fee. Meetup does not reflect $10 (it says $6) so please pay directly to Donna Shirley, your Organiser. Meetup will automatically drop you from the group if this $10.00 annual fee is not paid.

MEETUP WAIVER
(Summary: You agree not to hold us responsible for anything that happens related to transactions with third parties, member interactions, or in connection with a Meetup group or Meet-up event. You also agree not to hold organizers responsible for their negligence in connection with their Content, a Meetup group, or Meet-up event.)
Full Version:  You agree to release us and our officers, directors, shareholders, agents, employees, Consultants, Affiliates, subsidiaries, sponsors, and other third-party Partners (referred to in this Agreement as "Meetup Parties") from claims, demands, and damages (direct and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, now in and in the future (referred to in this Agreement as "Claims"), arising out of or in any way connected with any transaction with a third party, your interactions with other members, or in connection with a Meetup group or a Meet-up event. You also agreed to release organizers from Claims based on an organizer's negligence arising out of or in any way connected with their Content, a Meetup group, or a Meet-up event. You're further wave any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non statutory law of any jurisdiction that would proport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish All rights and benefits that you have or may have under Section 1542 of the California civil code or any similar provisions of statutory or non statutory law in any other jurisdiction to the fullest extent permitted by law.
