What we’re about
Welcome! The Social Society of Denver for 30s-50s is a fun, active group that started in 2018 but under a different name. We host a wide range of events appealing to different interests for fun, active and mature adults (singles and non-married couples only) in the 30s-50s age group. Our simple mission is to enjoy social adventures, make new connections with shared interests and escape from the daily grind of work. We’ll explore Denver, surrounding areas and the mountains. Check out our calendar for upcoming and past events to see the variety of events we offer. Those events that are dog and/or kid-friendly will be noted in the event description.
We welcome ideas for events and other members interested in organizing and hosting events. Please shoot Karoline (group manager) a message if you are interested in hosting an event(s).
As a private group we have some simple ground rules and expectations of our members. Even though it is fun hosting events and we enjoy getting to know our members and want to make lasting connections through the group, we need and want you to be an active and contributing member in good standing. Organizers volunteer their time to plan and host events and this is our social life too so please show due respect.
- To be accepted as a member you must display a respectful recognizable solo picture of yourself (front or side profile) so we can recognize you at events, use your own true name (at least first name), you must answer yes that you fit in the demographics (30s-50s and single or non-married couple) and your location MUST show your location in CO within an hour drive of Denver considering we are a Denver-based group. We have zero tolerance for fake or indecent profiles. Please check your profile aligns before requesting to join.
- With our age group we expect people to have the integrity to show up if you are rsvpd at the time of the event or have the maturity to update your rsvp well in advance if you can no longer join. When you rsvp please be highly committed to attend or update your rsvp at least 24 hrs before the event if you can no longer join. After two no call/no show offenses you will be removed from the group. This is a simple step and common courtesy to update your rsvp and send a quick message to the host through direct message or txt if you can no longer attend especially last minute.
- Please actively participate in events, bring a positive attitude, be respectful of others and have FUN!!
