🚊 MEETING POINT: (start & finish) Narara train station - Platform 2 at the entry/exit. Please use Google maps for exact location, not Meetup maps!

🥾 DISTANCE: 14km return.
🥾 GRADE: Easy/mostly Moderate on a steady pace, not snail pace!
💪🏽 Reasonable fitness recommended due to uneven rocky surfaces, ups and down hills, stair climbs and a bit of rock scramblings. Tracks expected to be wet, muddy and slippery in parts.
⚠️ NOTE: there’s no real get-out points once we hit the bush tracks.

📸 WHAT TO EXPECT:
🚶‍♂️Let’s explore Strickland State Forest,
the ecotourism gem of the Central Coast. Bush tracks are mostly under the shade.
🚶From Narara train station, we begin our exciting adventure walking on local roads and reserves to amazing rainforest, lush tree fern gully and rock formations.
🥪 We will have a lunch break at the lookout and picnic area near the oublic toilets passinng through Strickland Falls.
🚶🏼‍♀️After byo lunch and photo stop at the picnicc area, we’ll continue our adventure to another photo stop and selfies with beautiful scenery along the cliffs and bushtracks.
🪨 There are few petroglyphs (fancy name for rock carvings). 🤓
🚶 After spending our time in the forest, we’ll head back to Narara train station for our return journey home.

✅ Keep well back from cliff edges at all times, especially when taking photos.
❎ Limited facilities on the trails, so please come well prepared.
❎ NO smoking on the walk including during photo stops and lunch break.
❎ NO pets including service dogs are permitted on my events. You may join pet friendly walking group instead.
✅ If you’re bringing a guest/s under 18 years old, please let me know by TEXT message for confirmation.
✅ Please be mindful and respectful to members and guest/s from diverse background. This is not a dating group. Please do not ask inappropriate questions regarding marital status, sexual orientation etc.

🎒WHAT TO BRING:
👕 Comfortable outfit for the weather preferably hiking gear. Jeans or cotton t-shirt may not be suitable for this walk.
🥾 Waterproof hiking boots or sturdy shoes highly recommended.
💦 At least 1.5L of WATER, Hydralyte or sports energy drinks, snacks and PACKED LUNCH, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent (Bushman or Aerogard) and hand sanitiser.
⛑ Basic First Aid kit and a raincoat just in case of wet weather.

🚗 Commuter carpark at the station or side streets. You may offer a lift from your closest station or any stations on the way to Narara train station with share travel costs.
