Join us for an evening of creative exploration and meaningful connections at our monthly Fiction Authors Roundtable. Whether you're crafting your first novel or have several published works, this supportive community welcomes writers at all stages of their journey.
## What to Expect
- Writing Shares: A dedicated time for authors to read brief excerpts from their works-in-progress in a supportive environment
- Constructive Feedback: Structured peer review sessions focused on positive, actionable suggestions
- Craft Discussions: Open dialogue about writing techniques, creative challenges, and storytelling strategies
- Networking: Connect with fellow authors in your local community and build lasting relationships
## Format
- Welcome and Introductions (10 minutes)
- Featured Writer Reading and Discussion (30 minutes)
- Group Feedback Sessions (30 minutes) - Note: Depending on the size of the group, these may occur as multiple breakout sessions.
- Open Discussion (20 minutes)
## Guidelines
- Bring 3-5 pages of your current work if you'd like to share
- Come prepared with constructive feedback approaches
- Respect confidentiality and copyright of shared works
- Focus on encouraging and actionable feedback
