See all- Rogue River Greenway WalkValley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, OR
Training walk for those interested in hiking the 500 mile Camino de Santiago in Spain - or anyone who likes a long walk!
This event is organized by the local chapter of American Pilgrims on the Camino.
The walk will be in two parts:
First we will walk north to the City of Rogue River along the Greenway. Bring lunch or buy a sandwich at Subway in Rogue River. Depending on the weather we will eat at Subway or take our lunches to John F. Fleming Veteran's Memorial Park.
According to AllTrails this out and back portion of the walk is about 7.2 miles
If you want to join us for just the second part of the walk we should be back near the parking area around noon. Text or call Terri at 541-821-7178 to find out where we are on the trail at that time.
After we return to the parking lot, those who are up for walking another 6+ miles will walk south to Del Rio Vineyards, then back to the parking lot after spending some time at the winery.
Don't forget water, and a snack if you want one
