Take a Flyer at 2025

Last year I went out for a bird watch and trail walk sponsored by Jayhawk Audobon early on New Year’s Day. It was cold, gray and fun! Nothing lengthy. Nothing arduous. Seems like a good idea for a New Year tradition, so this year I’d like to suggest a site like the Fox Hollow Trail at Swope Park (1.5 miles, easy) and something warm afterwards. I’ve never been there and know very little about birding, but this trail has been listed as among the ten best for birding in KC proper. And, you know, Jan 1 might be the high point of 2025. Any takers? (I’ll need help planning.)
