What we’re about
A hopefully nationwide movement to organize ourselves into creating networks of communities to act as sort of a union for the planet in the age of climate fear and doomerism.
Built on the principles based on the channel Solarpunk USA, please at least watch the section on sustainable to know what you are getting into and how this group will be organized.

Solarpunk is made up of the following things
- Build and learn how to maintain a sustainable community.
- Urbanism through political advocacy and increasing our own use of public transit and micro-mobility devices.
- Waste/energy/consumption reduction(degrowth)
- DIY/upcycling
- Urban gardening and food food forestry.
- Right to repair.
- Community cooking/sharing/bulk investment.
- Community free cycling.
- Digital freedom. Using FOSS based social media, cloud storage and software to reduce costs and advertising.
- Creating Solarpunk art and telling the story of a future that could be, as opposed to the doomer mindset that causes us stress.
We can't all be involved with all of these aspects but we can network and organize together so that these are addressed and utilized. Why this group will be split off into cells based on interest. Please watch as much of the Solarpunk US channel to get more understanding of this structure. This community is built on the principle of equal participation, equal ownership and equal responsibility for making this group work, using consensus democracy. Our community will also hopefully split into smaller cells with different focuses as our numbers grow to make decision making more manageable and create a division of networked focus.
