Paul and I are booked for a 12 night cruise out of (and returning to) Bayonne with two full days at sea going south and three full days at sea coming back, and **visiting six fabulous ports over six days in the South Caribbean.**

The ports are San Juan, Puerto Rico • Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. • St. Johns, Antigua • Bridgetown, Barbados • Castries, St. Lucia • Philipsburg, St. Maarten and the ship is Royal Caribbean's Odyssey of the Seas.

Full cost to us (excluding $18.50 pp per day gratuities, which we'll pay on the ship) was/is about $1,800 each (split in half) for an obstructed (not really cuz the obstruction will be a lifeboat beneath the balcony, but with a full ocean view) oceanview balcony; however, an interior room averages $1,487 per person less an approx. 9% discount for a NJ resident and senior citizen (over 55 years) and you can get an oceanview balcony for less than Paul/my rate that will have some obstruction of your front on view and be wherever on the ship the cruise line puts you. These average prices assume two people book together (two gal pals perhaps?) as it includes a 60% BOGO discount I believe.

Oh, **honorable mention, we're pretty sure we'll opt to take a five night cruise to Bermuda out of Bayonne this summer sometime** (July or August...any preference?) with two back-to-back days in Bermuda and the rest at sea. Royal Caribbean rates. ***If we go with 8/16-8/21, the average cost is $729 per person for an interior room*** before the foregoing mentioned discounts, plus course, the daily $18.50 pp gratuities, your drinks card and your excursions.
