From Ring o’ Bells to Ring o’bells and back again! 5.5mile walk -lunch option

Ed is leading this walk he has called “from ring o bells to ring o bells and back again'. Starting at Ring o bells moorlinch at 1030 - we walk up hill past church to loxley wood, we will skirt along the edge of the wood on a roman road, past the false tree then cross A39 at safe spot. We continue down to edge of shapwick and then along old road to ashcott(here there are good veiws of mendips). We will stop at ring o bells in ashcott for some quick refreshments. We then travel back along pedwell lane to join footpath behind greinton church then back on lane(half mile) to ring o bells in moorlynch. 5.5 miles approx . We finish at moorlynch for a pub meal- only 12 places at present so put in chat if you want a roast ( otherwise join us for a well deserved drink!)
