**THE WALK**:
From the village green we will then make our way along Pelting Drove passing The Queen Vic, take a footpath that leads on to Durston Drove (an ancient trackway) and across fields until we reach Priddy Mounds (ancient burial mounds), we will then take a route that will take us back to the village green.
Xmas Jumpers optional!

**PARKING** 🚗
Can be found adjacent to the village green and near the village hall.

**DOGS** 🐕
Well-behaved Dogs & owners ARE WELCOME on this walk, but dogs may need to be put on a lead near livestock and roads and if asked by the walk leader.

**FOOD & DRINK**: Bring something to eat and enough water for the duration of the walk

**WEATHER**: If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before, unless dreadful weather in the morning then it will be cancelled by 8 am, PLEASE CHECK ON THE DAY BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR THE WALK.

**CANCELLATIONS**: If you sign up and then decide not to go at the last minute, please change your RSVP to NO so someone else can go, many thanks.

**DONATIONS:** A voluntary donation of suggested 20p will be collected from the start to help cover meetup costs.

**Boot rating for walks: -**

**1 Boot** \- For all walkers\. Mainly flat surfaces\, minimal ascents & descents\, around 4 miles on well\-defined paths\.
**2 Boot** \- Suitable for most walkers\. Small ascents and descents 4–6 miles typically\, in the countryside on rough paths\.
**3 Boot** \- For regular walkers\. One or more steep ascents/descents\, 6–8 miles on rough terrain\.
**4 Boot** \- Suitable for strong walkers\. Hilly terrain\, with steep/long ascents/descents\. More than 8 miles\. e\.g\.\, Brecon Beacons or Mendips\.
**5 Boot** \- Suitable for strong walkers\. Hilly terrain\, with steep/long ascents/descents\, often on loose terrain\. More than 10 miles in challenging terrain \(e\.g\.\, Snowdon or Pen\-y\-fan\)\.
