Join other single people 50 years of age and older, interested in connecting with other 50+ singles in a safe, supportive, and fun environment. (Note: Not 50 yet? We appreciate your interest in us, but we respectfully request that you honor our membership guidelines. Thanks!)
We are all about getting together to meet new friends and connect with those we already know. Remember we were all new at one time so we know the feeling of walking into someplace where everyone knows each other except for you. We are a very welcoming and friendly group.
We are about gathering with others explore all that northern California has to offer: hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking, dancing, show-going, game-watching, brunching, lunching, "wining" and dining, or just hanging out and making new friends. Our members are "up for" and "down with" almost anything that's fun and easy to access, at places that welcome 2 to 30. Lately though it has been Happy Hours in Petaluma on Wednesdays and Santa Rose or thereabouts on Fridays. Hopefully we will be getting back to some other fun things again.
Don't drink? Don't worry...there are many in our group that don't drink.
Most of all, we're about helping YOU connect with others in friendship and fun!
About Membership:
Your annual dues are $5. There is a 90 day free trial period. We recommend you attend a few events during that time in order to determine if you want to remain in the group before having to pay the dues.
You can pay through the site or via check (Note: If sending a check, message Kendra, the Organizer, for specific directions). Dues help to cover our organization's dues to the national Meetup-dot-com organization, and contribute a bit to a general event fund such as the annual picnic and Holiday party. Read more about our dues when you join and create your profile.
About Attending Gatherings:
To RSVP: Just click on the event title and then click "Yes" to RSVP.
Can't attend after all? Just return to the site and change your RSVP to "No." (Then, accept heart-felt thanks from the event Organizer for helping us to keep RSVPs realistic. No one wants to be in charge of saving 20 seats only to have 10 people show up.)
Is there an event charge? Nope. We generally DON'T CHARGE for our events, unless there's a special requirement from the venue. We do, of course, expect you to pay your own way.
How Events Get Scheduled:
We have many event hosts that plan and post events. If you have an idea or would like to host something please contact Kendra via message. She will help you post the event and help you plan it.
