Wear your best New Year's finery and start the year off RIGHT with a walk in nature! They say that how you spend New Year's Day will determine how your year goes...Let's start it off right!!
We will toast the New Year in after the hike at the picnic tables!

Ahhhhh....this is a great place to wander around! It's a great walk around Shiloh Ranch Regional Park. Our pace will be steady at our usual avg. of 2.5mph. It's about 4-5 miles with an elevation gain of around 600 feet. This will probably take us less than 3 hours to do. It's a great way to start your day! It's short and will leave you with plenty of time to continue onto a productive remainder of the day. For those of you just joining the Wanderers, this is a great hike to start on. It will be a great introduction to our pace and give you a feel for our hike rating system. This is one of the more moderate hikes we do. It's important that you keep in mind that we rate the hikes based on how hard the hike would be for a moderate hiker. For someone just starting or returning to hiking, this will not seem easy. It's rated moderate because of the short length and relatively short climb of 600 ft.

This is going to be a hike around the park. Trails may vary according to what trails are open.
