The Baltimore Museum of Art (BMA) has the world's largest public collection of Henri Matisse's work, with over 1,200 works:

• The Cone Collection The centerpiece of the collection is the internationally renowned collection of Baltimore sisters Claribel and Etta Cone, which was bequeathed to the museum in 1949. The collection includes more than 600 works by Matisse, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, and illustrated books.
