Let's go a little deeper than our everyday conversations and connect over a discussion about emotions and mental health. This is a safe space to have meaningful discussions about emotions and experiences we go through in life. If you like to read about, learn about, and discuss these topics, this group is for you!
About the book:
We will use Atlas of the Heart by Brené Brown as a framework and prompt. Brené has compiled 87 emotional and cognitive experiences and detailed a grounded theory for connection! Reading the book is optional as I'll likely read much of it aloud during our meetings and have a copy available at meetings.I've found it to be a great resource. Please check it out from your local library or purchase a copy! It's also available as an audiobook.
Note: If we get some warm days, we might meet at SMP; otherwise, through the winter, we'll continue to meet at Cafe Equinox. Stay tuned to the comments!
