Little Llagas, Bald Peaks Trail and Longwell Canyon will give us 7.3 mile, 1315' elevation gain loop, with a fairly long gradual ascent in the beginning and a long gradual descent back. About 50% shaded, so, even tho the forecast calls for temperatures in the 50' and 60's, don't forget the sunscreen and hats.
There is a restroom at the parking lot. Please note that we will meet up at the smaller parking lot near the trailhead. This lot can fill up on weekends so try and arrive early. There is a larger overflow lot about .3 mile past the first lot.
As always carpooling is encouraged, just click the link below:

A five minute drive away from our trailhead is the restaurant at Cinnabar Hills, 23600 McKean Rd., San Jose. This is not at all the "hot dog and beer" golf course restaurant with sandwiches, salads, pizza, fish, grilled items and even serves breakfast/brunch until 2 pm. In keeping with golf culture, please remember to exaggerate our hikes distance and elevation gain.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO MULTIPLY YOUR BILL BY 1.3 (FOR TAX AND TIP) AND TRY TO BRING CASH.
The IOPQ will be : if animals could talk, which one would be the rudest? Or the wisest? Or the funniest? And why?
ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another waitlister can have adequate notice that they are going. Also, it is not okay to just show up to a hike you are not listed as "going" to. Hikers who violate these policies will have that information noted on their permanent record, and their parents may be notified.
DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
