We are a group of over 50 folks who play relaxed pickleball in the south Bay and go out for lunch afterwards. Its more about the group camaraderie than the competition.
Disclaimer: I'm doing this because I like playing pickleball and meeting such wonderful people. We're all grownups at this point and you're responsible for your health and safety. Pickleball can be dangerous. By signing up for these events, you agree to release South Bay 50+ Social Pickleballers and especially me and any other organizers from any responsibility, liability, or claim in law or in equity. If you don't agree to these terms, DO NOT join this meetup event. You are responsible for yourself. Please come prepared with appropriate shoes, gear, water and a sense of humor.

Let's meetup at Doerr Park in San Jose. After working up an appetite chasing errant serves, we'll head over to a nearby picnic table to mingle and share some snacks. Please bring a food or beverage item to share.
PLEASE NOTE WE MAY HAVE LIMITED COURT SPACE. PLEASE ONLY COME TO THIS EVENT IF YOU ARE ON THE '" GOING LIST". ITS NOT OK TO JUST SHOW UP IF YOU ARE NOT. THE WAITLIST IS NOT THE GOING LIST. It is unfair to others on the waitlist for you to jump the line or invite guests.
BE SURE TO PROPERLY STRECTCH AND WARM UP BEFORE PLAYING TO HELP AVOID INJURY!
Doerr Park is at Portrero Dr. and Park Wilshire in San Jose.. Look for the tennis courts at the Northwest end of the park.
There is parking on the street near the courts.

IOPQ: Have you played more, or less than 10 times?ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for an event, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another wait lister can have adequate notice that they are going. Also, it is not okay to just show up to an event you are not listed as "going" to. Anyone "no-showing" for an event will be suspended from play four 4 weeks.
DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
