Session 1:
- Option 1: From CAD to CAM, Machining Your Part, Marcus Brown - MLC-CAD
This is a general introduction to CAM and the process of programming a CNC machine to cut a part. We'll look at the generic workflow that can be applied to any CAM solution and then we'll dig into SOLIDWORKS CAM and Mastercam to see how each program handles the tasks. We'll cover a lot of basics and FAQs including post processors and machine types, but we can dig deeper if you have questions.
- Option 2: SOLIDWORKS Certification Roadmap, Brady Daniels - GoEngineer
Ready to turn your SOLIDWORKS expertise into a professional certification? This presentation will help you prepare for certification exams by covering exam pathways, study resources, and best practices. Whether you're pursuing the CSWP or CSWE, this session will equip you with the tools you need to succeed in your certification exams.
Session 2:
- Option 1: Art to Part - Building a Custom Dump Truck Headboard Frame using Weldments, Marcus Brown - MLC-CAD
This is a real project that started with a classic truck and goes through design, documentation, fixturing, and welding the final product in a full product demonstration. I'll bring photos of my progress so far and examples of custom welding fixtures I created for this project. This presentation will be primarily about Weldments, Welding, and my classic truck restoration.
We are excited to see you there!
