The Best Small Pizza Chain- Ever? You Be The Judge!

Details

## "Anthony's has the best pizza this side of Italy - the blackened, bubbly crust is so authentic you can taste ancient culinary history."

- Miami New Times

## Deliciously scorched thin-crust pies with high-end toppings, killer wings, and awesome salads for two have made this Florida-based chain a hit with families.- Zagat

Anthony's founder Anthony Bruno grew up on Long Island, but he couldn’t find the pizza he knew and loved when he moved to Florida, so he decided to make his own.

Armed with authentic recipes passed down through generations, Anthony opened his first restaurant in 2002. Since then, Anthony's has expanded to 50 locations in six states.

Fresh ingredients are at the core of their menu, and fired flavor is at the heart of who they are.

They use only the highest quality ingredients, including hand-picked Italian tomatoes for their sauce, vine-ripened plum tomatoes for their salads, Pecorino Romano grated in-house, fresh vegetables and herbs, and homemade dough.

Then everything served hot, including their signature pizzas, is cooked at 900 (!!) degrees in their coal-fired oven for a distinct and delicious taste.

Have you ever eaten at Anthony's?

If not, isn't it time that you have?

Join us for an evening of good smells, good tastes, and especially great company!

PS They have a parking lot!

In addition, we will likely be sharing two tables.

Please be aware of the group rules.

1. Entrees must be ordered. Pizza is an entree. Breadsticks are not.

2. Political and religious discourse is strongly discouraged.

3. Please show up if you RSVP.

4. Please un-RSVP within 12 hours of the event if you cannot attend.

5. Please try to show up within 15 minutes of the time of the event.

Arriving later may disrupt the experience of other members who have arrived on time and begun the ordering process.

6. Please don't message the entire group if you won't be attending an event. Instead, un-RSVP and privately contact those who were expecting you to attend.

7. A "3 strikes and you're out" policy is in effect without exception for repeated no-shows and late cancellations. There will be no reminders to members as to their status. Your action or inaction may deprive a waitlisted member of a place at our table.

8. The best efforts will be made to offer you a positive culinary and social experience. Your positivity is necessary to complete the circle of fun. As such, negative words toward myself or other group members whether verbally or through Meetup related to restaurant choices, times chosen, or group policies would be best left unsaid.

9. Being made uncomfortable by a fellow member necessitates changing seats or a mental note not to sit together again. With this said, the group has zero tolerance for harassment.
