If you've ever had your writing critiqued, you know how fraught the process can be. Showing someone your work, especially an early draft, can be a very vulnerable process.

What if YOU were the person giving the critique? Experiencing that role can also be challenging. You want to be honest, yet sensitive. Let's take a deep dive into the art of critiquing and unpack what makes a great critique partner - and what makes a terrible one.

All members are welcome to join us either live at the Barrington VFW or via Zoom. Please add a comment when you RSVP by letting us know where you plan to attend. (We won't hold you to it, but it will help those of us setting up to know where we should seat folks so everyone can see and be seen to our online participants!)

**In-person assistance requested**
If you are planning to come to the VFW, and wouldn't mind helping with set up, Amy and Eden would really love having some help bringing in materials and setting up coffee, moving tables & chairs, preparing a welcome table, setting up the technology, etc. Eden and Amy will be there around 6:30; if you show up before 6:45, you can expect to do some work! :)
