We'll tour an old zinc mine with a retired miner, see marvelous mining equipment, witness a drilling and blasting demonstration, and explore their fluorescent "Rainbow Tunnel"! It's $15 per person, and we'll need to arrive between 12:30pm and 12:45pm to purchase tickets at the museum for the 1pm tour. Since it's 56°F in the mine, make sure to bring at least a light jacket or sweatshirt.

Bring out your inner lumberjack for this fant-axe-tic indoor adventure! The axe throwing is BYOB (yes, really) and it's $48.50 per person for the two hour AXEperience. We'll be visiting the Stumpy's Hatchet House in Princeton, and you can pay at the venue. Besides axe throwing, they have giant games and shuffleboard. First responders, military, and students get 20% off with ID.
For safety purposes, they don't allow open-toe shoes or sandals.

Come try out pottery* where we'll sip on some wine and transform clay into beautiful bowls and vases! It's $60 per person and BYOB. IMPORTANT: RSVPing "yes" to this event does not guarantee you a spot at the pottery studio. You MUST book your reservation on their website. Each participant will have the option of making a small bowl, small vase or small plate with the help of our potter. Your piece will be painted the same day using engobes - a colored liquid clay available in limited colors.
Once dry your piece will be fired in our kiln. Finished pieces will be available for you to pick up according to the date given you on your Pottery Pick-up Card Shipping of your finished piece is available (shipping fee applies).
Our potter will first show you the steps involved in throwing a piece of clay on the wheel. Then will work with you to create your own special piece. Your piece will then be heated and dried to prepare it to be painted and during this time, you will have time to practice the wheel on your own.
