What we’re about
The Southeastern Photography and Modeling Group is presented by Photoplex Studios to provide fun and exciting opportunities for both photographers and models of all skill levels. We are here to network and learn to help with portfolios through a variety of organized (MeetUps Events) and photo shoots.
We are hoping to bring together both experienced and novice photographers, models looking to share knowledge and share each others experiences and have a great time in the process!
In addition, we would like to invite any Makeup Artists and Stylists that would like to participate to join us as well. Our events will take place in and around the studio ( looking to do unique and interesting location around Atlanta, the Southeast, and beyond as well)

Studio Website: photoplexstudios.comWe have thoughtfully elevated the nature of these events. Instead of simply setting up lights and shooting, we believe it's time to stimulate your creative minds and apply the skills you've acquired to foster discussions about the evening's visual concepts. Beginning with this event, we will collaboratively design lighting schemes and select the model's appearance. We'll have multiple predetermined looks and adapt on the fly, possibly accommodating two to three looks if time permits, though this isn't guaranteed. We're here to address any inquiries you may have, but we strongly encourage your input and the application of your acquired knowledge.
Our objective for this event is to facilitate a pleasant and creative atmosphere while offering an opportunity to diversify your portfolios, both for photographers and models alike.
All experience levels are welcome, though this event caters primarily to beginners and some intermediate photographers and models. It is intended as a cooperative, interactive, and creative photographic opportunity.
Our studio staff and experienced mentors will be available to provide guidance within a relaxed environment. We will instruct novice photographers on camera basics and lighting setups, offering constructive feedback and addressing queries during the event.
We will explore traditional lighting configurations while also experimenting with fresh, innovative ideas. The session will span approximately two hours, with flexibility for extended duration as needed, ensuring ample one-on-one time with the models.
Furthermore, we are on the lookout for new faces interested in pursuing modeling opportunities."Liability Notice:"
