Island Turkey Trot

Let's burn some calories from too much pumpkin pie by paddling a nice outside route around some local Portland islands. See lighthouses, rocks, and your own breath on what looks like a sunny early winter day, minus the snow. If the group wishes we can make the crossing to stop on Vail Island. About 8 nm. Weather at this point looks like it will be in the 30s with a moderate west wind but check conditions before the trip. Dry suits, safety gear, and approximately 16 ft ocean sea kayaks required and lunch and hot beverages recommended. Butts in boats at 10:30 am.
