What we’re about
Men and women who love to cook-smoke-grill both delicious and healthy (organic) innovative food to enjoy with like-minded couples and singles who consider themselves healthy foodies for brunches, dinners, pot lucks, barbeques, cocktail parties, theme parties or dinners, etc. The group goal is to enjoy fellow foodies, great food made from scratch (no store-bought previously-prepared deli stuff in plastic containers here) from organic ingredients. Great wine and craft cocktails welcome, too. Most important: Sharing friendship, fun, laughter, and connection with others.
Guidelines for Southern Oregon Gourmet Dinner Club
Members are welcome to host an event but it is not required.
Host determines the number of guests (RSVPs) available at each event.
First come, first served basis.
If a member has RSVPed and plans change, the member agrees to immediately cancel their RSVP so another member can take their spot.
If cancellation is within 48 hours of the start of the event, members are expected to mail the host a check for the full amount they would have paid at the door. If a member does not honor this guideline, they will automatically be removed from membership. The reason is because the host plans for the number of people that have RSVPed.
Each member can bring 1 guest if they wish and RSVP for them. Contact host for that event if you want to bring mote guests. It is up to the host AKA Event Organizer.
Menus are up to the host chef. All cuisines are welcome.
Events may include such things as dinners, brunches, pot lucks, cocktails & appetizers, themes, barbeques, etc. We are limited only by our creativity.

When a host posts their event, if a menu item is organic or gluten-free, the host will include that information.
If a dish will include a commonly known allergen, such as peanuts, the host will note that.
NOTE: We agreed to these guidelines by consensus. We are definitely open to feedback and more ideas.
We try to keep our membership roster accurate so if someone has signed up but does not participate for four months, they are automatically removed from the roster and cannot rejoin.
