South Herts Walk and Social is a private Meetup Group and members can only join by invitation. The title of this event is deliberately vague because the title, date and time are publicly visible but all other information such as location and event details is only visible to members.

Jane and Dave are having their Christmas party on Saturday 7th December 2024 from 7:30 p.m. until late. We have invited a large number of guests by email and we are sending a notification to everyone on SHWS.

Food, including desserts, and soft drinks will be provided so there is no need to bring any bottles unless you like beer or something else to drink. The usual party music will be playing, with some updates since the last time. You are welcome to stay until 00:30 or later and there are some night buses and late trains to get home.

Buses 107, 184, 263, 307 and N20 night bus stop in Wood Street, 5 mins walk away, bus stop "E" or "F" Wood Street or Barnet Church. The 307 bus route runs 24 hours a day at weekends and there is also the N20 night bus at 00:01 and 00:31. High Barnet Tube Station a 20 minute walk away and you can take bus 107 or 307 from Wood Street to New Barnet train station where Northbound trains to Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City depart every 30 mins until 23:28 then after that it is a bus replacement service at 23:58, 00:28, 01:00 (last bus). Southbound trains to Alexandra Palace depart at 22:50, 23:20, 23:50 (last direct train) then after that you need to go northbound via Potters Bar then southbound. Trains at 23:58 and 01:00 (last train)
