Moderate 6ish mile walk from Weston Village, Bath, with a long steady climb up the Cotswold way to Kelston Round Hill... for views over the flooding in the valleys below!!

This walk is for walkers with average walking fitness.

The walk does have a planned rest stop at Kelston Hill for a quick sandwich, but also a visit to the Chalcombe Inn for a planned drinks refreshment stop.. inside, or in the garden if you still have snacks to eat!!...

After this rest, we head back to Weston village, flat to start, but then the decent which is likely to be slippery after all this weather!!

Warning -
Parts of this path are quite steep, and it is a long climb up to Kelston Round Hill...

Lunch.. Official food stop is planned for Kelston Round Hill, taking in the views.. (although some may wait to have a crafty sandwich later on in the garden of The Charlecombe Inn...

Attendees need to wear suitable walking footwear/boots and have suitable clothing depending on weather conditions.

You are responsible for closing ALL gates behind you, especially where Livestock are present. If dogs are allowed on a walk, they should be kept on a lead and you are responsible for lifting your dog over stiles if there are no dog access points, and cleaning up after your dog at all times. You are responsible for your transport to and from the meeting place and if you choose to lift share it is your decision.
