What we’re about
Trying to build, launch, and scale a business from the ground up? Or just want to learn? You're not alone.
Don't do it in isolation! The sum is greater than the parts. Let's grow, learn, and hack together. Get help. Give help.
This is an Indie Hackers-inspired offshoot for Houston. The group is for anyone trying to build a business or working in a startup environment, whether bootstrapped or investor-backed. Any level of experience and background is welcome to hang.
Events tend to be an unstructured combination of working and socializing together. Like a slightly more social coworking space that hops around.
Requirements:
- Commons sense stuff: we're inclusive. Intolerance or being a jerk are not permitted. We follow the Indie Hackers code of conduct. Please review it before attending.
- No directly soliciting investment opportunities. Talking about your idea or business, mentioning you're fundraising and asking for input on the process is fine, but trying to actively hawk investing opportunities whether your own business or others' is not allowed.
- If you're planning to work in parallel, bring some headphones to pop in as a signal when you'd like to be left alone.
