ABOUT THE ADVENTURE

Your characters have journeyed to the city of Loudwater, a once small town village on the River Greyglow that has rapidly grown into a thriving capital of the Realm in the past 5 years.

Recently, the entire Realm was united to fight off the incursion of the five headed dragon Goddess Tiamat as she attempted to claw her way to the material plane here in Faerûn to take it for her own and destroy it.

While we were successful in driving Tiamat back to her home plane, dark dealings with different deities and an Arch-Fiend behind the scenes took a terrible toll on those who participated in the main battle. Now, to fix things that went awry, the Lord General of Loudwater has put a massive call out to assemble more forces and delve into the depths of the Abyss to slay the Arch-Fiend.

ABOUT THE SYSTEM

Dungeons & Dragons is the world’s most popular tabletop roleplaying game (TTRPG). It is a cooperative, storytelling game where you and other players take on the roles of different characters within a story. As you play, your character will make friends and enemies, fight monsters, discover loot, and complete quests.

But while the goal of many games is to score the most points or win, the ultimate goal of D&D is to tell a story. There are dice and Basic Rules involved, and often maps and miniatures or tokens, but the tools that come into play most often are the imaginations of the players.

ABOUT YOUR DM

I began my TTRPG journey back in 2015, as a DM! I bought the core set and that was the first time I ever got to participate in the game, despite being a long time geek. Since then, I have introduced over 120 different players to TTRPGs!!!

I've realized I love storytelling and worldbuilding, and helping players weave their own stories into my world is something I excel at. I enjoy both doing this as well as creating a collaborative story together!

In my own time one of my main hobbies is all kinds of fine art. I do cartography and calligraphy using traditional dipped quill and ink methods! I also enjoy gardening and plants, cooking, and own two little black cats. (My fav season is spooky season!)
