• NOTE: WE ARE NOT MEETING AT THE MALABAR SCRUB SANCTUARY TRAIL HEAD AS IT IS CLOSED.

Find the Glenbrook Senior Living housing on the corner of Port Malabar Road and Briar Creek Blvd (about 1.4 miles west of US-1 on Port Malabar Rd) . Take Briar Creek Blvd south just past Senior apartments. Our parking area will be just past that at an opening in the fence. (see image above) My green Subaru will be parked there.

DETAILS:
This is one of my favorite venues in Brevard as evidenced by the varied terrain and foliage that we will encounter. We will be hiking on trails used by the Brevard Mountain Biking Association which are beautifully maintained, but watch out for mountain bikes as they were out there last week. You will be surprised by your viewing choices, I promise. Lots of human artifacts on the trails that will surprise you. Hike will be on predominately shady walking areas (greater than 85%).

Bring hydration , insect repellent, and sun block.
